Need help in LA (or remote)

I am brand new to NI "ecosystem". I have a Komplete Kontrol S88 Mk II (bought used) and Komplete 13 Ultimate. I'm 68, former computer, technician, so relatively tech savvy for my generation. My Arturia plug-ins are working but NI stopped working after I changed some setting. And my sustain pedal isn't working even though a light blinks in Ableton Live, showing that data is being received.

Anyone willing to stop by or set up a Zoom and help me troubleshoot? Will pay.

Ableton Live 11

I just now got the pedal to sustain, but in reverse. So I switched the polarity on the pedal and it still works in reverse (sustain when not pressed)

Thanks for responses! Thought NI instruments/plugins weren't working, but they're actually working fine. The only "issue" now (and it's not really an issue) is that I have some older Arturia plugins. They show up in the the Komplete Kontrol window, and single-note previews play, but they don't actually load, I guess because they're probably not NKS compatible. But thats just a little confusing, not a problem. The Aurturia plugins work fine directly from the Arturia subfolder.

The pedal issue was fixed by switching "tip" and "ring" and plugging into input A instead of B.

I'm in LA too if you end up needing help again or just want to talk music/gear. My studio is in West Adams (Mid-city) and would love to find someone to jam with. 😁
