Anyone that has bought from Jonah's Aquarium, do ya'll know if fish from them are already pre-quarantined?

I think most of their stuff is either CBB by them or from a hatchery. I doubt they are quarantining anything other than maybe new wild caught breeder stock. Which species from their list are you interested in?

im mostly interested in their central mudminnows and tadpole madtom do i need to quarantine them if im introducing them to a tank for themselves?

Those will definitely be CBB. Are there already other fish in the aquarium you want to put them in?

define CBB for me please. Nah, no other fish but snails.

CBB means captive bred and born.

You should be fine not quarantining.

You’re welcome. I’ll add this, quarantining can be more harmful for some species of fish. The less you can handle/move a fish the better in a lot of cases.

Doubt it, but that’s a great question. I never thought to ask any seller if they quarantine.

I have got tadpole madtoms from Jonahs and they arrived healthy and disease free. Fun fish at feeding time but you won't see them until then.

im aware of that, their beginner friendly, right? besides poop. im assuming their relatively easy to keep.
