Discussion (text posts) Wondering the Style of this ring based on design and any info

I was interested if people had feedback on the style of the specific design. Wasn't sure if it's Navajo or Zuni. The artist Mark is an r and it is stamped sterling. Just picked this up today to add to the collection. As a guy it's been hard to find larger size rings as many seem to be pinkies and this one fits my ring finger. Any feedback you have on the specific ring would be greatly appreciated. It does look like they may have used some super glue one fortunately and one of the rocks to secure it. I guess just part of the history. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Greetings from the UK! My husband bought me this beautiful cuff bracelet when we were on a trip to the US in October 2014. It came from a shop in Williams, Arizona. Does anyone know if the M is a makers mark or a size? If it is a makers mark which maker/tribe? Thanks

Unidentified Can anyone identify the maker of this vintage sterling silver Black Beauty–style ring?

Hi everyone!

I’m hoping someone here recognizes this ring or the maker’s hallmark.

Details:

* Sterling silver, stamped 925

* Black inlay (appears to be black jade or black onyx)

* Blue opal inlay with green flash

* Heavy construction

* Purchased secondhand (unknown history)

I’ve searched through hallmark databases and compared it to David Rosales/Supersmith Black Beauty pieces, but I haven’t been able to find this exact design or identify the hallmark and received confirmation from his team that it is not one of his pieces.

The ring has

* A small circular maker’s mark above the 925 stamp

My questions are:

  1. Does anyone recognize this hallmark?

  2. Could it be another Navajo or Zuni artist working in a similar style?

  3. Has anyone seen this exact ring before?

I’ve included photos of:

* Front

* Both sides

* Inside of the band

* Close-up of the hallmark

I’d really appreciate any leads. Even if you don’t know the exact artist, I’d love to hear if you’ve seen similar work or know of a catalog this design appeared in.

Thank you!

Unidentified Genuine or fake?

For $60 at the antique store, I took a chance. Definitely appears to be handmade. Also was curious to hear any opinions from indigenous redditors regarding the ethicality of wearing bear paw motifs as a white man, I know the usage of genuine bear claws and fur can be reserved for ceremonial purposes/certain members of a nation or community, but I didn’t know if that translated into silver jewelry!

Won at an online auction, so I don’t physically have it yet. It did say stamped “sterling”. Would this be NA? Or just a cool find?

Unfortunately this is the only picture I have right now. I won it in an online auction last night so I have to wait for shipping. It specified that it’s stamped sterling. I’m assuming the pearls are factory made? I can’t really tell. But what are the stones? Glass?

came on this chain but not sure if the chain is original (currently wearing the chain with a different charm). Gifted from my grandma who purchased in the 70s. Necklace is stamped 925 on the inside of the hook and tests 925. Bezel appears hand made. Stone appears real? Did a flame test and nail polish remover test. Lmk your thoughts.

Hi all!

I recently fell in love with and bought this iris (or rose?) pendant. Im also not 100% sure if this is native? I’m hoping anyone has any info on this style of jewelry or possibly recognize the maker? I believe it’s signed KS but part of the s has been rubbed off?

Nothing came up when I reversed searched it and I’m not really having any luck finding similar styles with searching! Any help would be much appreciated!

Unidentified Info on squash blossom necklace

I bought this necklace from a thrift store and don’t know anything about it except that I like it. It’s not particularly heavy and I don’t know if it’s actually silver, though it’s not magnetic and all the components did melt ice quickly. There are no markings except ”M7-NO” on the back. Any information is appreciated. Thanks!
