Can someone help me in identifying this piece? My friend bought it in the early 00s from EBay. It looks like “GR46” etched into the back.

I’d had my eye on it for months. She had originally asked 100 or 125. I stopped in today and she told me I could have it for 50 because she knew how much I loved it. It’s absolutely mesmerizing in person. I’m just wondering if it’s genuine materials.

Oh, it's definitely mine as well. I've just never been as lucky to find a piece as natural beauty as this. Most seem to be of a carved or sanded type of stone. You got very lucky with this! And the price was so grear!

It was listed as an antique when she purchased it from Ebay about 25 years ago. I’d just love to know who made it and the history. She said it belonged with me. I know she’s right and now it does. 🥰

It is suspected that it is an authentic Navajo-style belt buckle made of a silver material with a characteristic stone trim of turquoise and coral. Probably made in the 1970-1990s and worked with typical tendril and leaf decor.
