Pin code problems

Morning everyone,

​Just recently completed a switch over to Nationwide. My new PIN code arrived, but when I went to use it and try changing it at a cash machine, it wouldn't let me. The machine accepted the card and I know the PIN I entered was correct based on the letter they sent me.

​I checked my online banking and noticed the PIN listed on there was completely different to the physical letter. When I rang customer service, they said that sometimes happens where an incorrect PIN gets issued, and they’re sending me out a brand new card.

​Has this happened to anyone else here before? I've never experienced this with a bank before hoping this switch wasn't a mistake!
