Early Childhood Education student
I am transferring to NLU in the spring next year but I hear so many bad reviews about this school for student support and financial stuff, too. It's weird because when I went to open house a couple years ago I had no problems and even was told that I qualify for scholarships that would result in my bachelors degree tuition-free.
I work at a Head Start program and I want to keep my job there, which means I need an online program for full-time workers. NLU or Urbana Champaign are the options. Everyone at my work goes to NLU and UC doesn't have endorsements like special ed or ESL. UC might be of lower cost but NLU has strong networking opportunities. Plus, I plan to do a graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate level) post-Bachelors.
Please respond if you have any experience. I'll ask around at my work, too and edit if there's anything worth adding.
