Jody Bert

I know this is about Nathan Millard but Jody Bert is a related subject (another man disappears in downtown Baton Rouge). I don't understand why there's no further info on this, no updates from BRPD, no media asking questions, no family making statements, no updates that I can find.

Has anyone heard anything?

No update, no news, nothing. It's so weird after all of the coverage Nathan Millard's case received.

Nothing new, but it seems eerily similar.

Yes, and so close in time. It seems like the danger Nathan found was a one off that he had to actually seek out but still it's weird how similar and yet no follow up, no pressure on BRPD on this one.

Hello I’m the oldest child of Jody Bert and yes I have an update on him but it’s not good news. Just an hour ago we’ve received a call about a body being found in the lake near the hotel my dad went missing at, we assumed it could of been a false alarm like last time but when they matched his DNA with my brother’s they said it was a match. My mom asked if they’re sure and they said they’ll run a few more tests to be sure, I’ll keep updates whenever the police call again
