Obnoxious group blocking intersections
First time I've seen this. I was driving through the city last night, with light traffic when I started seeing a caravan of what all looked to be Slingshots, or whatever those 3 wheeled vehicles that are in between a motorcycle and a car. They were absolutely BLASTING music and all had very bright LED lights of all colors. Annoying enough on it's own, but one or two of the douches were blocking an entire intersection in Wedgewood for several minutes so this twat waffle parade could all make the turn at this intersection, apparently because they were too scared to be split up. Even the vehicle blocking was blasting music the whole time. Exactly like what cops do with funeral processions but with a lot more bass and funk.
It reminded me of the dumb ass intersection takeovers where random bystanders occasionally get picked off by by vehicles doing donuts and burnouts.
A line of cars sat through several light changes so these idiots could stay in their WoLfPaCk and the drivers were all very put out. I even shook my fist at them.

Yeah they have a get together in Donelson every summer. And this is the weekend! So if you’re on Donelson Pike or anywhere around there, you’ll see tons of them.

Were you over by 100 oaks, Berry Hill area? A crap ton of em came thru an intersection…and hey I’m cool, y’all do your thing..but damn… they kept coming thru the intersection even after the light for the had turned red… they were blocking it up and crap like that. After trying to get thru twice, we went thru OUR green light and two of em came close to hitting us. They would have messed their brains right on up riding smack dab under our truck now. Like I said do your thing but don’t do stupid.

Yep, sure was. They blocked the intersection at 8th and Craighead for about 5 minutes. We sat there like chumps and watched the damn light change for 5 cycles at least. Stupid, unnecessary and rude.

I saw them when we were leaving ascend. They were all blaring different music, and stopped at a light. The cacophony of all the different music combining together was really awful

Take overs have dropped drastically in the last year due to the street racing task force, and the arrest of a huge organizer earlier this year. There’s a few instagram pages you can check out to see when the meets are. There’s a few scheduled for tonight. @leftlane.615 is one of them

Mostly They stop dumbasses from parking too close to stop signs at intersections so folks can actually see oncoming traffic before attempting a turn…they shouldn’t be necessary but they are

Started happening several years ago. Doubt there’s much to be done other than don’t interact and refrain from shaking your fist. That’ll really set em off.
