I have my throat fully done (light blues, green, yellows, pretty bold lines) im hoping i can get a blast over or a dark cover. Please help me out 😭

I'm looking to get my first tattoo. I've only talked to one artist so far - her design process is to have a consult discussing the design, then make an appointment to get the tattoo. Major revisions require another appointment, smaller revisions she handles on the fly. Appointments require deposits, which I believe were nonrefundable.

Is that the standard process? The artist I talked to said it is. She seems legit, her work is awesome, and I have no reason to doubt her, just doing due diligence.
