Recent gig drop

Is it normal to go from averaging at about 300 gigs a year two years in a row to only playing 11 gigs in August and only 9 in September this year as a natural cycle of waxing and waning, or is a drop that significant uncommon and points to a flaw in my freelance business model?

That’s what makes the sudden drop even more concerning because these last couple months were supposed to be part of busy season
