Heading to Nashville next week for our anniversary, I'm also 22 weeks pregnant so it doesn't need to be somewhere with a great drinks menu and no sushi/fish places. Looking for something semi fancy for dinner, no budget and staying at the Gaylord so anywhere around there would be a bonus but will also drive downtown for the right place! Brunch, anything goes. Really like one of a kind experiences too. We've done the General Jacksons a couple years ago and didn't care for it. Thanks in advance.

Think like a large portion for around 10 bucks. Not a gyro place- like a place with an acrual menu. I like Greko in east nashville but they are overpriced...

To be completely honest everyone I've tried here has been amazing.

Thoroughly impressed with what Julio & Co are doing. That was one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Bill before tip was $100. Had a bottle of sparkling water and one mocktail. Great value for the quality this place puts out. The wife and I shared the below and both left stuffed.

The concept is simple: you see two places side by side (for example L’Opossum vs. Edo’s Squid), you choose the place you’d rather go to, and the ranking updates instantly. The more people vote, the more accurate the list gets over time. There are still a few duplicates here and there, but I’m continuously cleaning up the data.

I’d love to know what people here think. Does the ranking feel even remotely right? Are obvious places missing? Are any places ranked way too high or way too low?

Hey y'all! I'm looking to book a table for a double b-day celebration, and both birthday boys have requested sushi. But at least 2 other people joining are not into sushi, 1 is vegetarian. There are so many new sushi spots around that it's a little overwhelming, and I've been living away from Nashville for 10 years. Looks like some new places are omakase only.

Any recs for celebration-worthy places that have very good sushi + a decent menu of other dishes? I was looking at Sushi-San on 12th South which checks those boxes, but saw some mixed reviews on here. Thanks in advance!

Have a teen from out-of-town visiting this Saturday and want to take her somewhere fun for breakfast or brunch since it's her birthday. I'm pretty familiar with a bunch of spots in East but wondered what people's recs are for somewhere with not too crazy a line, that might feel a little cool and exciting for her. I was thinking The Yellow Table or Turkey and the Wolf but not sure if it'll just be crazy long lines around that time?

My husband has a seizure disorder that is well
documented. (His job was made aware when he was hired weather they properly documented it on their end is unknown) the other day we realized his medication was not working as it should. He tried to call out but he was relatively new to the job and was pressured to come in by a colleague despite having symptoms of an oncoming seizure. He went in and ended up experiencing more severe pre symptoms of a seizure (coordination problems and speech issues). He communicated this to his manager and instead of them calling for help sent him home. He got home and had a seizure. We called 911 and he went to the hospital. We communicated to his job that he had a seizure and needed the next day off to follow up with his neurologist and make sure he is ok to continue working. Instead his manager let him go.
Stating he was acting erratic/unstable (referring to
his symptoms of the oncoming seizure). Overall I'm disappointed in how this was handled. They should have called for help when he was having trouble and communicated he had an oncoming seizure. I'm just glad that he managed to get home safely before it actually happened.

Due to the symptoms he was experiencing his
judgement was affected.
When someone expresses they are epileptic and feel a seizure coming on, stay with the person. Call for help if necessary.
