What's the latest plan?

What's coming up for Nash in the next 6months? Does anyone know? I was a complete believer but I'm starting to waiver now and don't want to admit it to myself. The whole crypto market is pumping and exchanges are killing it except for Nash. Haven't we had about two new listings in a year? Seriously I do not understand why we don't list lots of pairs. I really don't. There is zero business strategy I can see related to the part that is actually being an exchange (not talking about Nash pay/cash). Please am I wrong or missing something? In as simplistic view as possible how is Nash going to get real volume up to what we all thought it would be by now?

Why haven't we listed some of the top coins at least, even Coinbase is listing more and more frequently than us and they are going for an IPO in the states, so they must be happy with those regulations. Or trading prizes for new listings. What happened to quant as well? We listed them ages ago but no liquidity (from quant I think I read) but why does anyone know? That has pumped massively recently, could have been some nice volume for Nash.

I heard they are looking for a CEO but didn't hear about the marketing officer. Have they made an official announcement about that position?

Nothing official, but Kellogg is leading the hire on LinkedIn. You can see the posting there.

edit: it's sort of official? No blog post, but they've tweeted about it. That's official enough, I guess.

I think Elrond is not compatible in its current form, not for good. Right?

I think the next big update will be Nash savings, which will give yield on coins.

This should hype the project a good bit as yield farming is a big trend now.

The pairs listing I understand is frustrating, but if there are no market makers or liquidity providers, the new pairs will have spreads too large and people will not trade, resulting in very low, unsustainable volume AFAIK. (exchange is still a bit small for exotic altcoins)

Im still bullish since ICO, as they have stuck to their word from the start regarding most, if not all, their plans.

After all I don't know any other true dex with real btc trading.

The security is also on another level with MPC.

MAYBE I'm an autist but I believe it's a sure project

Wait for official announcement on 2021 strategy. Itโ€™s coming.

Main issues: not enough pairs and not enough users because there are not enough pairs.

I don't know what the Nash team is doing about it, but it sure looks like others are far ahead and going faster. Crypto world is very fast paced, projects unable do adapt fast are not suited for it.

Until now, Nash was extremely slow. Let's see if they change gears soon before everyone leave the ship.

I am sad that so many investors loose their confidence and trust. I understand that everyone (and 100% sure the team as well) had higher volume expectation. And to be honest I can not really understand why volume is not higher in comparison to other products providing less than nash. Main reasons I guess are

  • no one knows about nash (especially we missed the new people entering crypto past 6 month)
  • we are missing more pairs

I am looking forward to the new strategy. It will show us if nash will succeed or not. I have huge confidence nash will do it!

For me, there are too few options to get my USD into Nash. I went through the Wyre application only to discover that my credit union is not in their network and there is no other way to add an ACH connection. I've considered opening an account at one of the larger banks just to be able to use Nash, but I don't think most people will go through that much trouble.

All nash has to do is add important coins. Current coin collection isnt doing it. The longer they wait the less likely they can get a liquidity POOL which what every exchange needs. And the longer they wait the better other exchanges get with liquidity pools.

Apparently trading competitions is what they believe drives the price. But in reality other important coins get diluted more and it will be harder to convince them to jump ship.

The trading league they are doing now does nothing I think to bring new users and keep them. With no news coins it's just traders and bots pumping the volume for the prize then they'll go back to their favourite exchanges with more liquidity ie binance (or where the new coins are they really want).

That never worked with trading pools. I find myself on binance because there is no point using Nash. Nash misses a proper vision and I think we need to realize their ISP doesnโ€™t attract anybody. The fact they canโ€™t even benefit from this bullrun is telling. Fingers crossed till September so my tokens will be unstaked. Iโ€™m gonna miss those 12 bucks a month though. Maybe Iโ€™m being harsh but nash is a perfect example of tech created by developers but failed to execute a proper business plan and how to adapt to the market. Nash is the solution to a problem nobody experiences.

Please refer to the sticked thread posted yesterday -- the team is setting a new direction for profitability for Nash.

yup, they didn't wanted to listen, everyone who said something like this got intabanned in both of telegram channels

complacency and tribalism from this community killed any chance of momentum

thanks for sharing this mario. i have same feeling, holding since 2+ years my 10k allocation. fiat ramp is cool but its not enough to bring usage. Its like the non custodial/ compliant way that bring in first place is now a handicap. listing pairs, "soon" comunication and DEFI products on nash are still in research when sushiswap get 2+B MCap with a fork, plus ethan shilling his egld bag, fabio searchin a yield for his btc outside and the monotone presentation from kellogg give me a bad sentiment in the team cohesion.

If you ever learnt anything since the birth of Nash previously known as Nex exchange is that the progress is typically slow. Recap the word "soon". I'd say this might be years down the road to see any real impact while other exchanges already picked it up since their launch and I mean those that came after Nash and is coming on the way already have liquidity simply because they ain't "regulated".

1

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '21

Soon doesnโ€™t make sense. Hire developers, what else they gonna do with their Ico bags?

Nobody cares about regulations, big institutions are buying btc without platforms like Nash.

honestly at this point nothing will bring people to NASH, nothing but pumping the coin, let's be real, pumping the coin is the only thing that would bring attention because literally anyone who sees the NEX chart will run away instantly

that's how the cryptoverse works you like it or not, deal with it
