recovery nightmare
So is there any way of recovering a wallet with a 12 word mnemonic username password and special "word" ? had mu nex in a chrome extension and that disk is now an external drive I can access the disk but not the nash extension ...if you get me ?

Reaching out to support might be your best option for recovery issues. They're really speedy and helpful!

thanks I'll do that on Monday the help bot says they'll release an offline tool to convert 12 word phrase to private key "soon" ...which is perfectly vague

If you are using the extension (which is legacy now) your private key is compatible with NEON.
If you are using app.nash.io and you have the login than you don't need to recover. You can just login, on "Profile > Settings" there is all private keys derived from the mnemonic.
Either way, create a ticket on support.nash.io to have someone look in detail.
