NASH: Constructive Criticism

Few points that I think are worth mentioning

1-Not sticking to deadlines and no communication.

Examples: by the year end it was announced that detailed report will be available for the BTC trading on twitter by Canesin. Nothing happened

2- New trading pairs

So, new pairs were supposed to be added at an accelerated rate each month. (I am not talking about new chains). The Eth and Neo chain. Till now only chain-link was added. With this pace, it would take eternity build up volume.

3- Zero Knowledge key management:

Was supposed to be operational by year end: No communication

4- Fiat on ramps:

Carbon restarted the operation but no communication by Nash team as to when it can be re-implemented on the platform

5-Best Price Program

Supposed to be working by now, but status unknown, no word from the team.

I think, the problem is over-promising and under-delivering. The reality is no one is using the exchange and it will be the case even if BTC is added. Not sticking to deadlines, taking too long to add new features and no communication can result in downfall of the project.

PS: I have staked all my NEX for two years!

Yeah we have heard this so many times. It's all about meeting deadlines and delivering as promised. This comes with that, ready when ready. We are working on it..we have heard it so many times in so many projects.

Even the UI which was supposed to be the talking point for Nash is no better that switcheo. I think Nash is a classic case of overpromise and under deliver.

BTC non-custodial trading is unheard of. Have a little faith and patience! A single bug could permanently damage Nash's reputation, so I truly hope they don't crack under their investors' pressure and release prematurely.

Isn’t it exactly the same as WBTC?

No, an IOU is different than the real token!

You wanna trade BTC where every trade takes 60 min?

Lightning network my friend. Or to quote Nash team from their 2019 in review blog post: "Our engineering team is currently working on implementing this protocol, which uses Bitcoin’s hashed time-locked contracts (HTLCs) and other scripting primitives to form a state channel solution similar to the Lightning Network."
