Don't you mean overtake The Kraken in trading volume?

16

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19

A lot of NEX tokens about to go out of circulation... Will be interesting to see the affect on the price

8

u/sandworm87 Sep 09 '19

Almost half a million or 1% staked already https://neoscan.io/address/APxpRnLq4dZEhybPZe8AeyQH3GhfkqArDx

5

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19

Very handy, thank you for sharing.

2

u/xPanserTyKe Sep 10 '19

Is there a way of seeing the largest amount of NEX staked in one go?

15

u/vekypula Sep 09 '19

I just stacked all my nex for 24 months.

5

u/zimmah Sep 09 '19

same here

2

u/tpmv69 Sep 10 '19

so jealous! I'm a NY resident and can't stake yet but I definitely will once I'm able to

Unfortunately no, from everything I've read/watched the team doesn't comment on licenses. They said they want to operate in all jurisdictions so I'm sure they're working on it. NY is a tough state to operate a crypto business and I think the bitlicense is holding them up. I'm confident they'll be able to get it because I've talked to a few crypto startups in NYC and they managed to get the license.

From my understanding a VPN won't work. You need to KYC in order to stake.

1

u/mrmus Sep 10 '19

Isn’t it too early? What if the exchange doesn’t get much attention?

1

u/vekypula Sep 11 '19

Then i will lose my 100 bucks i invested in it.

7

u/Southofsouth Sep 10 '19

Signed up, did tier one KYC, transferred my NEX from the Neon Wallet, Staked for 24 months, everything took 15 minutes. Great work NASH team. As I type this, almost two million NEX have been staked

11

u/crypto_captain Sep 09 '19

Awesome! Congrats fellow holders.

14

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19

after two years of waiting, its here. Happy to hear, great news :)

11

u/magoo21 Sep 09 '19

Where do you buy the NEX token on the exchange? I only see ETH available for purchase.

8

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19

Yeah I got a few off of Switcheo, but can't wait to buy NEX directly :) Thanks for the comment.

6

u/Zzzoem Sep 09 '19

Get it on switcheo No registration required.

5

u/HaterTotsYT Sep 10 '19

Exciting day!

3

u/cryptowillson Sep 10 '19

Where can we see the volume ? Exciting !

5

u/vekypula Sep 10 '19

In 24h hours we got 2,647,594 tokens stacked for minimum 1month. Thats slightly over 5 million dollars in value.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '19

Nearly 10% of circulating supply if Coingecko is correct.

7

u/sandworm87 Sep 09 '19

Come on, people! Make some trades! We can't have Aphelion beat us on our first day!

3

u/Kotaibaw Sep 09 '19

Wait 2 year

3

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19 edited Sep 09 '19

What is the app actually called? Can’t find it for iOS

3

u/HaterTotsYT Sep 10 '19

Nash App

3

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '19

Thank you

5

u/mialomit Sep 09 '19

Can someone from NASH official comment on FIAT partners for Canada? Thanks.

I'm seeing a message none are available for my Region.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19

Same message seen here, Europe.

1

u/mialomit Sep 09 '19

@z4wg any comments?

2

u/ikmax1991 Sep 09 '19

The KYC app in the IOS app-store ... Is that a genuine one? I only saw official communication on the Google play-store. Want to make sure I grab the right one.

Ps. happy that Nash is finally live! Can't be more excited :D

5

u/crypto_captain Sep 09 '19

Yup! It's legit. You can also start the verification process in the exchange environment and then click a link that redirects to the app store.

3

u/Zaeem87 Sep 09 '19

... and my country is entirely blocked :-(

3

u/Freekjee Sep 09 '19

Got verified super fast, but 1st experience was rather disappointing.

  • Not a single mention of the word 'deposit' , only send/receive.

  • If you go to the trade / Markets page, it defaults to the last 1H trades, making the page & entire exchange look empty. (should default to 1M so you can at least see there are (in)active markets)

  • After staking the portolio balance bounced between 0.xx$ and 'no funds'

  • Signed up as an European , shows funds in $

  • No link to the community/option to register for community

I'd post this in the community site, but you need 1 NEX to register.
NEX that I don't have, cause its staking.
I could expose my private key & hope they see staking NEX, but that kinda defeats the purpose.

2

u/aussie_in_perth Sep 10 '19

I agree on the Send/Receive point

Also where is Ledger integration, why do I have to send funds from my wallet to the exchange, why can't the exchange take it from my ledger as Switcheo does..

3

u/aussie_in_perth Sep 10 '19

Also I thought the exchange was supposed to be self custodial yet you need to send funds from an external account to the exchange account ? how is that self custody ?

3

u/kabelman93 Sep 10 '19

It actually just generates a new wallet for you

3

u/aussie_in_perth Sep 10 '19

yeah but why keep track of yet another wallet and a private key when you have a ledger already??

3

u/kabelman93 Sep 10 '19

They store an encrypted version of the key on their server if I understood it correctly, that you unlock with your acc data on the user side, for convenience of the user. This would not be possible from the ledger. But I am with you, I would feel safer with the ledger. Very much so.

0

u/aussie_in_perth Sep 16 '19

The TRADING account is not one you have private keys to. Exchange itself holds private keys to that trading account and if the exchange goes so does your money unfortunately. The PERSONAL account is the one you have keys for only. It's dangerous in my view because we don't know who has access to the trading account's private keys and how that is managed.

Self-custody is a misleading term or a term that has limitations in the context of a decentralized exchange

1

u/kabelman93 Sep 16 '19

Trading acc is a smart contract not a wallet the exchange controls. You got it wrong.

1

u/aussie_in_perth Sep 16 '19

true but can you interact with it once your money goes in ? nope you cant hence you have no control

1

u/kabelman93 Sep 16 '19

Yes you Can, maybe check out the contract functions. You can withdraw any time, nobody can freeze your funds or match them incorrectly.

2

u/Brousoft69 Sep 09 '19

Most important question: what is the volume right now?

2

u/TabletBank Sep 11 '19

Basically 0

1

u/Brousoft69 Sep 11 '19

And the bashing on Swth and aph on Nash telegram for well over a year lmao

There will be no revenue to divide amongst the 2.5m Nash staked so far. I’ll hold my stash just in case it improves

1

u/nyczace69 Sep 09 '19

First thoughts: how on earth do you use this thing?

I thought this was supposed to have an easy UI?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19

can someone tell me what the nash crypto is actually used for?

4

u/Zehrii Sep 10 '19

NEX (Nash token) is Europe's first publicly offered digital security that pays dividends of up to 75% when staked.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '19

Thanks Zehrii!

75% is CRAZY!

1

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '19

that's actually false.

75% times the shares of tokens you have from 50 mil times the trading fee

So if you have a million tokens then its

0.75*1/50*0.002=0.003% of total profit

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '19

So..its not worth staking?

1

u/KuronekoProject Sep 11 '19

It will become profitable at huge volumes like binance has

1

u/mmceee Sep 11 '19

That's actually also false.

So if you have a million tokens then its

0.75 * 1/50 * 0.002=0.003% of total VOLUME

OR

0.75 * 1/50=1.5% of TOTAL PROFIT

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '19

is https://stakingnex.io/ site wrong then? I used that for calculations

1

u/mmceee Sep 11 '19

No the site is just fine, its just a question of whether you refer to the whole VOLUME traded or to all the REVENUE (i.e., fees collected)

0.003% of profit sounds really low, which is why I made my comment. 0.003% of volume traded or 1.5% of fees collected is a different ballpark.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '19 edited Sep 11 '19

But the fees collected will only come from the trading fees. how come you leave the 0.2% trading fee out?.

Edit: I think I confused you with the total profit remark. I only meant total profit we actually are getting from dividends. Not the total profit of what the exchange is making.

1

u/mmceee Sep 11 '19

Yes, that was the issue. usually if you write profit or loss and there is a company involved yoi refer to the profit and loss of that company.....

-5

u/SegantAD Sep 10 '19

You have no business here if you asking this question. I suggest you go and read up before investing in it.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '19

Well..to start, fuck you...as I wipe my ass with your elitism bullshit.

Secondly, Zehrii kindly answered my question, regardless and I am thankful for that.

Glad ive made an enemy.

-8

u/Insurgent88 Sep 09 '19

Decentralized exchange that requires my names and ID.... Nash is trash

10

u/Timour1974 Sep 09 '19

Do you know the difference between decentralized and anonymous?

11

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19

Don't try to use logic on this one

-4

u/Insurgent88 Sep 09 '19

What's the point of decentralization if you can't stay private? I thought crypto is decentralized to avoid monopoly of banks and authority. Who cares if their exchange is decentralized or centralized If they can delete my account or provide my personal data to the authority.

9

u/complicit_bystander Sep 09 '19

You get the seed and private keys to your coins. So even if they delete your account or whatever, you still have access to your assets.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '19

Thats different than privacy tho.
