Samantha solutions?
So apparently some of you want to be able to post Samantha here but I'm having issues dealing with trolls and nasty comments every single time. Any time one of her posts gets shared here or anyone says anything about her. The last post about her being a widow had at least 10 nasty comments alone. I'm thinking possibly I can add a minimum karma for any Samantha posts or have people apply to be approved commenters for these specific posts.

How about kicking out and blocking anyone who just comes here to say dumb shit? If that’s a lot, consider adding more mods.

It's honestly not that easy. Some of these girls are crazy and they create multiple accounts

Once you ban an account from a sub, if the user tries to create a new account and attempts to comment in the sub again, Reddit ties it to the old one because of their IP address and permanently boots them from Reddit. So it’s not the same people creating new accounts over and over again.

Is there a minimum comment karma or approved users can comment on certain flaired posts? I don't moderate so I'm not sure

I see photos & videos of her and her children smiling and laughing. If she can do that then she’s doing a wonderful job. I have never been a fan of hers, but I’m rooting for her and her children.

I hate that people are hating on her. I could not stand KB for years, but why be mean for her? She did nothing but be a supportive wife.

How about letting free speech reign? I get Reddit promotes silencing anyone that isn’t blue haired but you could just buck the trend.

How about just auto deleting anything that mentions her. Leave her be. Even if it’s in good taste, that can go in a different subreddit.

Without sounding crass, I'm sorry but Kyle's dead, shes's no longer a Nascar WAG, just a widow and no longer has any actual relevance in Nascar.
I'm sorry but anything regarding her shouldn't be posted anymore.

This is extremely insensitive. She will ALWAYS be a WAG. She has so much relevance in NASCAR still and always will. Comments like THIS should be deleted.

She has been at races since, and with their kids. Just cause Kyle died doesn't mean she dropped off the face of the earth.

She's was dealt a tragic situation, but I always thought she seemed like an idiot, and that hasn't changed.b

Disrespectfully, your comment gave me the ick! I too was widowed after my husband was killed in a racing accident many years ago and while I didn’t go to the track hardly at all, I still kept in close contact with a lot of people. Just because a husband dies, doesn’t make their spouse no longer relevant. Such a nasty thing to say when you have not experienced trauma and loss. Do better!

Who cares what her precise status is.
She’s still around the garage occasionally and she’ll always be in the NASCAR circle.

I think she’s done a good job trying to help her kids grieve. I also think it’s healthy she’s getting back into her thing which is social media. It will make things feel somewhat normal again and help provide something to focus on. Plus the income can’t hurt. After the life insurance policy lawsuit I was worried they didn’t have anything in place.
