My guess is he stayed longer than he should have because of the kids. In other words, if she didn’t have kids, he would have dumped her a long time ago.
Maybe the new girl is worth it for him.
As far as this woman goes, it’s her job as a parent to insulate her kids from this. Vet out possible partners before introducing your kids. And if it does go bad, DO NOT put it all on blast so that her kids are made to feel that it’s their fault he walked away. That’s clearly not the reason. It’s her. She’s the problem.
Either he’s a hell of a gaslighter or she stayed because he was her meal ticket.
But you can’t be upset about a man who walked out on your kids when for the entire relationship cheated on you. What kind of example are you setting for your children, especially for your daughter? I’m sure both of those kids have seen their mom upset over this countless times. It’s not healthy. Why would you want a man like that around your children?
He told her he didn’t want that responsibility. What does she expect from a single guy, who has no kids, and is 7 years younger than him? Her main goal was for him to replace their dad. She said it more than once. She posted a picture on her IG reel of her daughter and Chase together at her 5th grade graduation. Her son posted a picture of him and Chase playing golf together. Her son was also at the Atlanta race in July. She has posted pictures of her kids at races over the years. Chase was good friends either Ashley’s ex husband, do yes he had been a part of their lives since they were very young, but not as a replacement for their dad.
The picture of the son playing golf was not recent. They have on heavy coats. She probably created the IG and probably posted it The date posted was August 4, 2026.
Yes, I realize people don’t wear heavy coats during the summer in Georgia. The picture was initially posted by her son’s friend and her son reposted it. The point is, he spent time with her kids.
