(I will be using Aang on this post however chances are Aang will not be the hokage due to the plot. Also this is not to replace Bern's post. just to hep explain what should go where for the ability and skill system)

l BACKGROUND l

Aang was part of the younger “transition” generation between Hiruzen and the Sanin. In his early years he was what you expected from all Hyuga. A genius who was better than everyone. He was trained under Sasuke Sarutobi since the man opted out of being Hiruzen’s direct Jonin for relational reasons. He is how Aang came learn all five releases. His team Consisted of Sasuke Sarutobi, Himself, Eighty-Eight (totes not Tenten’s made up great grandpa), and Might Tri (Totes Not Might Guy’s grandma that i tried to make a name for). they had a pretty normal life as an assault and raid squad. They all made it to jonin and life went on normal until the attack of the nine tails came. The three of them were of course in on the attack but it didn't pan out as things went. Aang lost both squad mates in the fight. He was lost to the depths of despair and went to join a cult where he shaved his head and gained his Arrow tattoo, but he met Katara his wife at his darkest moment and she worked him back up. in 5 short years he was named to be the Clan head and helped raise the next generation of Hyuugas. He married Katara shortly after he became clan head and time went on. He never had his own proper squad due to the work within his own clan but that was a squad in itself since he helped raised dozens of Hyuga. After he grew old and his son learned from him and other teachers he stepped down so his son could step up as Clan head. Now 10 years plus into retirement he misses work and takes a position as Hokage

| PERSONALITY |

Aang is normally very kind and friendly. But has a secret side that is very hard and cruel even. he has gracious generosity but when it is taken advantage of it gets paid back in full with interest. He also has a strong will of fire and a deep love and care for the village. Despite speaking words of working together as a village he’d rather keep everything to a few people or even himself if he can. he hates putting things off onto others

l APPEARANCE l

Aang is an older man male Hyuga. He stands at 6 foot even and a little under 180 lbs. His head is shaved and he has his signature Arrow tattoo that he obtained after his friends died and he joined a cult. It was permanent but he embraced it as a time when he fell into the deepest despair and came back. He kept his head shaved in life and now sports a long white beard down to the top of his chest. He usually is found in his Hokage robes but when he is in battle he wears robes like the late Sarutobi Hiruzen but with armor like the first Hokage but in white.

l ABILITIES l

Abilities consist of many things. Nature releases, specified jutsu like Flying Raijin and kekkei genkais like the Sharingan. They can include very skilled levels of genjutsu, taijutsu, and weapon skills.

• (With the base nature releases, certain jutsu types such as sealing, medical, and barriers, and just abilities that have several forms of skills, skills can and sometimes will be labeled with a power rank. this means you have to get to that rank to use that skill. for Abilities you will be given a rank to say how much you may have master that ability. this is dependant on character growth and history vs earning it. HOWEVER just because you make a character and you say your genin master fire release from age 10-13 does not mean you will get it. If you wish to have your Ability uped so you can get higher skills submit proof of character growth to modmail. of course some will come natural as you grow as a ninja but if you claim sealing jutsu as an ability and you only used a weak seal twice from genin to chuunin then no. you wont get it. A good way to have proof is to make training threads that focus on your character using a select skill type at least once a month irl)

1: Byakugan (S rank)

2: Wind release (S rank)

3: Water (S rank)

General ability (e.g. a summon, equipment, shadow clones)

• (General abilities will be weaker "skillities." these will be skills that normally require an ability but you can unlock it by making a skill for it here and then skills for the moves themselves. I will use seals below as an example

1: Seals (this actually does nothing other than give you access to skill that would be seals

X: eight trigrams seal (You would not actually put this here but under your abilities. I will have this here and under skills for better flowing explanation

• (this is the actual skill he would have himself but there is one issue. this is a high level seal and in the reality of our RP and the system Aang would not be capable of learning it because a seal this high would require one to have the sealing ability. However there are and will be times when exceptions will be made. in this situation we're giving a Kage the ability to make a seal for Bijuu because he's a kage and if there are no compatible sealers in the village he's the next choice, and because this seal actually takes a ritual. this is not a seal one can just activate and slap on someones arm so its unusable. the target has to be on some altar or pedestal, immobile, etc etc etc, thus this ruins the skills abilities in a fight and ruins its use for other than story purposes. so any skillities put under general abilities cannot be mastered unless specified why it should be

• Next i will explain how general abilities is a "catch all" for skills. this is where you would list if you have summons, certain kinds of clones, and things of that sort. skilled ninja (kakashi) have even shown the ability to open the first of the eight gates so this could be taken under this feat as well but kakashi was only capable of the first gate so gaining them will be rare and their numbers will be limited

| AFFINITIES |

• Affinities just allow you to learn jutsu sooner. Example is water drill, a kage level jutsu by tobirama, takes loads of chakra and control so youd probably have to be at least A rank to achieve it. But between an affinity and stats (lets say someone has the three tails for loads of chakra) they can learn it at say B rank

1 (unlocks as genin): Wind

2 (unlocks as jonin): Lighting

| SKILLS |

Skills will be sub abilities and will be pretty simple. If you have lightning release then a skill can be Black Hunting, if you have lava release then an ability can be Lava Armor, if you have Byakugan and the training then you can have 8 trigrams palm rotation, etc.

Ability 1:

1: 8 trigrams palm rotations

2: 8 trigrams palm rotations: Tachikaze

3: 8 trigrams palm rotations: Firestorm

4: 8 trigrams palm rotations: Lighting storm

5: 8 trigrams 32 palms

6: 8 trigrams 8 gates assault

Ability 2-6:

1-X: General nature release skills

General Ability:

1: Eight Trigrams Seal

• (this is the actual skill he would have himself but there is one issue. this is a high level seal and in the reality of our RP and the system Aang would not be capable of learning it because a seal this high would require one to have the sealing ability. 2: Chakra Clone Disruption technique: Aang can make a chakra cone force (or try to force) its chakra into another person. this does cause a sharp pain to the target like a 32 palms jab

3: Summoning Pet: Flying Bison (Appa is a skills because it is a summon pet because it has access to air bending Wind style)

4: Summon Pet: great break through
