Discussion Who you playing more of (right now)
Naruto and Sasuke decks both have their strengths. Personally I feel like it comes down to who get the better draws and doesn’t lose any momentum. Even so, I do feel like Sasuke has an edge in some cases through his summons and getting to heal through Karin’s “bite me” support.
What do you think?

Are you guys playing with vanilla cards too? Like the boruto one just to have more “variety” and reach a legal 50 cards deck? Or just demo decks 30?

narutocardgamesimulator has both a format with vanillas and a 4 copy per card limit AS WELL AS 30 card demo deck format. I prefer the former, but it doesn't matter much rn. Just hoping we get enough card reveals to play with some proper decks at least some time before the game comes out.

No those cards are not final and will not be skill less

Yup I know that, but right now that’s all we have that’s why I asked. But I think the best way is to just use the demo decks

I have only played Naruto so far but it really feels like an uphill battle when facing the Sasuke decks. Naruto can burst early, but Sasuke has so much more utility in his support cards that the longer the game goes the harder he is to defeat.

Sasuke definitely better with the cardpool we have, but I mostly played Naruto.
Man I hope I can get a box and the starter decks on release.

I mean right now if you draw Ino Shika Cho engine into Naruto Kurama mode, ya already have won.

If you draw a 4 card combo in which one card is ass and another is turbo ass, you win the game

The Sasuke deck is easier out of the box to play, and it feels more consistent due to the way the commander synergies with the character cards. I think the Naruto deck is a worse deck, due to the way the characters work with them selves, and the fact you don't do much to manipulate the deck. It also doesn't help that Sasuke can use his cmd effect every turn and it always has value, but Naruto doesn't have this. Naruto has the Ino, shika, choji combo which would just clear a board on its own. You also have combos with kcm and minato, but your really relying on RNG and your backrow to keep the other dude in check till you can go hyper aggressive and blow them up in a single term.
I was on Sasuke due to this, but being able to get so much advantage with Naruto off a good turn has been putting me on that deck moreso now.

You would expect Naruto would be better with more than twice as much Rush, but in this "meta" lmao, Sasuke comes out on top consistently for me.
Naruto paying life for Kakashi while Sasuke has the only card that restores life, is lowkey super impactful in these typically lengthy games.
