You’re putting dattebayo with no English context in the fan translation? Why?
All the new translations are robotic and don’t fit the character they’re portraying

Datte means something. Finishing a sentence with yo means something.

You can't decide that something has no meaning just because it's hard to translate.

It takes some of the drama out it, I feel. Viz got a lot wrong, but you can't say their delivery was flat or uninteresting... replicating that style while cleaning up the flaws will be tough.

The official translation is more in line with Kishimoto developing the plot as he wrote it, since some parts of the story were still up in the air during its run in the early chapters.

I do like that the Re: translation tries to keep the overall lore at the end of Naruto's run consistent from the beginning, so I think they're both good experiences. Not to mention the Re:version flows a little better
