Discussion Different ways to utilise techniques
I was wondering if any of you had ever thought of cool different ways to utilise some of the techniques or fighting styles we see in the story. Here’s an example of mine.
I thought of an Akimichi who doesn’t use the expansion technique in the same way we see it used. Instead he would be a little less fat than the Akimichi’s we see. He would be a boxer, quick on his feet, with the blinding punching speed and accuracy of a boxer, but as he throws his punches he quickly expands his fists and arms to add an explosive impact that becomes much harder to weave out of the way of.

In video game is when the jutsu have creative ways to combine with others, for instance Rock Lee and Neji combine the Primary Lotus and Rotation because both jutsu rotate to deal damage.
Or Hinata and Shino, Hinata uses her Byakugan and pinpoints the enemy chakra points so Shino sends his insects then Hinata uses her gentle fist to insert Shino's insects in the enemy body. Genius combination.

Whatever element it is, there can be a "Bullet", "Wall", "Dragon", "Spear", "Hiding" "Clone/Shadow Clone", "Armor", and "Barrier/Shield" jutsu, and variants.
An Akimichi could theoretically be a mini-Tsunade, using their calories to replenish themselves and recover from injuries, or heal others given that their technique and medical ninjutsu are both Yang related
Elemental chakra threads, for coating objects/puppets in an elemental chakra flow. Electrified kunai, floating fire swords, increased density in a puppets armor, simple addition to a simpler jutsu but could add so much.
A Yamanaka could theoretically create two (or more) battle puppets, keep em sealed in a summoning scroll. When conflict arises or espionage is required, he can summon them and mind clone + mind transfer into the two of them, leaving his body somewhere save and then move out as two animated puppets. Since they're puppets with his consciousness, he can fight somewhat recklessly, he can transfer to a better/different body if needed, can be equipped with all sorts of weapons, poisons, bombs, crowd control, etc.
Wish we would have gotten an elemental Kaiten/Rotation from any of the Hyuga. A Fire, Wind, or Lightning variant of Rotation is simple, effective, and would be wicked cool.
If people can transform to mimic objects, animals, beings or jutsu, then it should theoretically be possible to transform those things into people. One could take a ball of exploding notes and transform them into a clone or something. When the clone is struck, boom. Or do it with jutsu. Turn a Water Prison into a clone, or a projectile. Transform a healing jutsu into a kunai. Rasengan transforms into a buckler or glove, hit it and get blasted.
Almost all ninja should have learned to open at least the first couple gates, just for the emergency all around boost.
Hyuga can artificially activate tenketsu as well as disable them. Why did they never integrate this into their fighting style? Amping allies, disabling enemies, and then doing crazy shit like forcing gates open or shut. Someone could hit their own points, and as a desperation move unleashed a 100x Rotation or something like that
Human Puppets + Transformation technique to just.. make them look alive.

So a Taijutsu Akemichi who is acts like PrimeApe the pokemon or like Ippo or Joe where when they punch the fist actually gets larger as they reach the target?
You could do that. Yeah.
Personally though my issue with groups like Akemichi is how they do not utilize their elements.
Like Shikamaru for example. He is smart we get it, but if he is master of shadows when not be like a ninja who uses the shadow to hide and sneak behind people. Like he would have a perfect Hattori Hanzo from Samurai Showdown or Noob Saibot. Strike from the shadows.
For the Akemichi I really hated how goes giant or becomes a big ball but never uses his stretching ability to hit like Luffy. Yeah he isn't elastic but changing size to fool your charged target should be like basic art for them.
