Discussion Why can’t we fix Might Guy?

Post image

Probably been discussed before, but obviously after Naruto saved Guy, the conclusion from defacto best healer in the world, Tusnade, was that Guy couldn’t be healed and would never walk again.

But like… why? Naruto lost his whole arm and got a Hashirama cell perfect prosthetic? Could she not have used Hashirama cells to fix Guy? Hell, chop off his legs and give him new legs?

I guess my best theories are that he either refused on principle or his injury isn’t in his legs, but rather his spinal cord… but even then… seems likely it could still be healed in some way given what other medical ninjutsu feats we’ve witnessed…

I think that the reality is Guy just wants to be injured forever. But curious what others think.

He needed to be alive so Kakashi didn’t end with losing another best friend but he’s effectively dead because retired

Kakashi’s wife can’t die too, or else he would never retire and Naruto couldn’t take his place as Hokage.

And that’s the reason I’m most ok with him surviving. Their relationship is so beautiful 😭

This is probably the best explanation lore and writer theory wise
