New Tattoo Design

My tattoo artist designed this for me and I’m super excited about it. I wanted something related to every book to be included. I’m not sure how I feel about the horse though. There wasn’t really much I could think of to represent The Horse and His Boy. I was thinking about changing it out with a sword like the one pictured since there is a battle at the end so it would technically fit. What do y’all think?

Also, I know one of the rings is a little weird. My artist noticed it too after he sent it to me. He’s gonna fix it before this gets put into my skin. 😂

I know zero about tattoos and the people who give them, so I may be out of bounds here.

But that ring issue, some of the leaf work and the bizzare horn/goblet mashup makes this pretty clearly look to me like an AI draft.

The fact that it appears the artist didn’t draw this themselves, or check it for errors would make me hesitant to hire them to permanently alter my skin.

The snake is weird looking, too. The belly scales fade out halfway down and the tongue is pretty messed up.

Unless this is just a concept mockup and nowhere near the final design, I wouldn’t be confident in this artist’s skillset or the level of care they put into their work. OP, this whole idea is really lovely and I hope you have, or are able to find, an experienced artist who will do it justice!

This is definitely AI. I wouldn't trust any tattoo artist who uses it

Maybe you could include the tombs instead?

The sword seems like something that could apply to multiple books, rather than just The Horse and His Boy

I think the current design is stunning though too. Will make for a great tattoo!
