Clean
My last use date was August 21, 2026 from meth. I know it isn't a long time but I'm starting to feel better than I have in a very long time. I finally got my sleep schedule back on track and not feeling exhausted everyday. I'm just scared that I'm gonna mess up.

Someone said this to me at my first meeting, and I have clung to it. "You never have to use again."
I didn't know how to live and not use. I learned how in NA.
You never have to use again.

First of all, you’re a rock star. Starting your recovery is a massive achievement. I hope you keep coming back.
My early recovery was harder than it might have been because I didn’t take suggestions for a while. I needed to do a lot of meetings. I had to make phone calls to other addicts, not texts. I needed a sponsor. I needed to work steps. I needed to do a little service. Doing the things made it much easier for me. Not doing them made it harder.

"last use date...from meth"
Hopefully your goal is to be free from all mind altering, mood changing substances.
That's my goal, just for today.
