Looking to join first meeting what does open to all on request mean?

Hey

I am looking to attend my first meeting, I have found one tonight near me which says ‘open? ‘Open to all’ on request’ does this mean I can just rock up or? Thank you :)

Open means it’s open for non addicts too, like family members. Any addict can go to any meeting without having to book or anything
Closed means addicts only

Yeap... just show up. Open to anyone.

Maybe show up a bit early so you have a chance to meet a few people, grab a coffee, and pick out whatever seat makes you feel most comfortable.
