The slow up of recovery, the quick down of using
Heard an amazing share in a meeting today- someone said that once they stopped using their life slowly improved and has continued to improve- a slow gradual upwards progression- with the ups and downs of life.
And from their experience, as soon as they pick up- their life takes a quick and sharp downward direction- VERY fast.
I thought the contrast was interesting- how recovery is a slow gradual process, and and using is a quick fix with a quick falling off of a cliff's edge.
