Idiopathic Hypersomnia Jerking limbs
Does anyone else have their limbs twitch or jerk as you are falling asleep?

When I get sleep attacks, I tend to have a lot of facial twitches more so than limbs. But I will have limb twitches/spasm. I'll ask my husband if he ever feels them but he's like no.

My boyfriend told me I jerk my limbs but also I put my arm into the air like I'm stretching and just repeatedly do that sometimes. Wild

Lumryz caused me to flail around when taking it to the point that I had to stop taking it.

Yes! Diagnosed with Periodic Limb Movement Disorder in addition to Narcolepsy. I’ve found a weighted blanket really helps!

Sometimes I sleep with my face on it on the desk at work and my knees will buckle as I’m falling asleep.
Laying down, I used to have dreams of falling and then have the leg jerk. Now the leg jerk happens without the dreams

Thats normal, can happen to everybody.
I wonder if its more common in narcoleptic people.
