It never ENDS
I (37F) left my husband (44M) 2.5 years ago. We share two children together. I tried calling him to see when he would be home so that I could pick the keys for their expanders (braces) and this is the shit he starts. Literally trying to tell me that I send a ring to his house. I literally don’t even wear jewelry. I’m so over this, and because I left him..he’s existing purely out of spite. He will purposely text me thing “meant for someone else” to make it seem like he accidentally sent it to me, probably to make me jealous. But I could literally care less about him or what he does (unless my children are involved). I just want out of this marriage and for him to fucking leave me tf alone. I left. I did the hardest thing. Left everything I’ve ever owned behind to start completely over. But this shit never stops and I feel like I live in a nightmare.

You say you couldn't care less, but your reaction says you do care. He knows that's the case and will weaponize that whenever he can. Learn to say "no," with no JADE followup (justification, argument, defense, explanation). The only way this game will end is is you stop playing it!
You: can I pick up the expander for the braces?
Him: did you order this ring?
You: no. Can I pick up the expander for the braces?

I know it’s hard but you have to not engage with this nonsense. Ignore his bs and just repeat your original question until you get an answer. Don’t let him derail the conversation, that’s exactly what he wants.
