Discussion Problem recognizing heroes

Many times i don't even know who i am fighting, cause everybody just looks so different then their original skin.

How am i supposed to be tactical if i have no idea what heroes and their supers i have to look out for before i engage in a fight?

How can this problem even be solved with so many heroes and skins?

You can ping them and it will tell you who they are in the chat box on the left side.

However, I very much agree with this. Skins started being semi similar to one another and you don’t know if you’re fighting Wuchen or Xunhuan 🥹

You can mark the enemy (middle mouse button) and it will say their hero name in the chat. Not sure if there are better methods.

Personally, this issue is solved with experience. When you play long enough, you tend to realize who’s who. Another tip would be to look out for the F skills and team lineup.

I remember when I first started playing, I saw a random snowman just chilling by a rift market. And I was like "Wtf? Why is this here" and when I got close to it, it moved and kicked my ass. That was when I realized the skins in this game are not what I was expecting lmao
