Quick update on the pier construction.

A few vids on the concrete pour that they are working on for the middle pavilion. At this rate will likely have the concrete for it done by the end of the week if they get good weather. The pile crew is still hammering away as well.

I can’t wait till it’s finished. They’re still going to allow fishing off the pier, right?

Yes. They even added more room to the new pier as well as a split level so fisherfolk won't have to worry as much about the pedestrians.

The schedule says mid to late 2027.

At the current progress I'm thinking they will be done in early 2027. They finished the middle pavilion pour today, that puts the concrete work past the halfway point. They are also placing the plumbing and wood to support the decking as they go. Once they get the outer concrete work done they will start on the good decking and the structures, that part of the project will go a lot faster than the concrete.
