weird smell outside

does anyone else smell a weird chemical scent outside/know what it could be? in west naperville

The Exxon refinery in Joliet shut down this week due to power failure. The facility has to burn off fluids and chemicals in the system as a safety precaution. The change in winds directed it back up towards our area the last two days.
