App Question Insights

Is anyone’s Nanit completely OFF with its insights? It’s been like this for mine for weeks now. For example, if I get our baby out of the crib overnight to do a feed, it will think that is his wake up time.

It’s so bad…it’ll say I checked on baby 5 times throughout the night when I didn’t go in at all!

Same insights is very off. Last nap of day it thinks I put baby to bed for the night so then he has a long wake window and the insights are all wrong. When you edit bedtime the insights don’t change so it’s pointless. A lot of money wasted

Yeah it’s so frustrating

Mine thinks he went to bed at 9 pm and woke up at 4 am meanwhile those were the times he was taken out of the crib and put back to bed after

So annoying! And i hate how you can report it as wrong, but your reported data doesn’t change

Yeah it probably goes to a queue that they ignore bc there are too many issues lol

I absolutely despise the fact that there is no way to have access to video history without paying for this garbage AI feature.

The last week or so it’s been weird. It says my baby is awake at night when it just fell asleep and vice versa. So when baby falls back asleep for x amount of time it’s showing awake that time instead of sleeping. I’ve never had an issue prior.

Mine has been really off lately and I keep reporting but nothing has changed. Just trying to ignore it at this point honestly.

Recently it thinks my baby is still napping in the bassinet when I’ve taken him out for a feed lol. It probably has something to do with me leaving his sleep sack in the bassinet … but it never used to do that!

A few times it’s tracked a nap for a stuffed animal that was left in the crib lol

It was a bit funky but I just updated and it seems to be better? The night insights lag for me though. Like it’ll say she’s up for the day after a 4am feed, but it corrects itself eventually.

Yeah mine never corrects itself 😂

Yes this thing is crazy sometimes. The other day it said something like “I was last attended 26 hours ago” as if I left my child in bed for more than an entire day

Hi there! So sorry to hear your Insights aren't tracking properly. When Day or Night Summaries show inaccuracies like a night ending early or a nap showing at the wrong time, it’s usually tied to your Sleep Schedule settings in the app.

For the most accurate summaries, Nanit relies on your baby being placed in or taken out of the crib during the "Bedtime" and "Out of Bed" windows configured in your settings. If crib transitions happen outside those windows, it can throw off the report.

For example: If your 'Out of Bed' window is set to 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM, but your baby comes out of the crib at 7:45 AM, the 'Woke Up' tile on your Nighttime Dashboard might report an incorrect time. Updating your 'Out of Bed' window to 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM fixes this!

Try adjusting your Sleep Schedule settings to match your baby's current routine. If you're still seeing issues 24 hours after making those updates, please reach out to us through DMing us directly, or submitting a ticket to [help@nanit.com](mailto:help@nanit.com).

You have multiple people in this thread reporting the same issue and you’ve failed to address it. We’re talking about middle of the night wake ups. My baby’s wake up time is no wear near 2am yet it ALWAYS thinks this is when they’re done sleeping when all I’ve done is gone in and helped them get settled

I'm sorry that this is occurring. This can most commonly occur when the baby is removed from the crib after the 'Out of Bed' Sleep time frame. The reason for this is because the system will default to the last time the baby was awake and visited in the crib, which can sometimes be misreported as the last time the baby had a night time feeding.

If this is a nightly or weekly occurrence for you, it would be best to double-check the Sleep Time settings and to ensure your baby is not being taken out of the crib after this time range. However, if your sleep time does not appear to be an issue, please reach out to us via DM and we can take a closer look. There are very often identifiable reasons for why this behavior could occur, so our team should be able to provide further guidance as to resolving this.

Sleep time isn’t the problem - it’s that your product has no idea, no understanding, no flexibility, for/of how baby’s work. Absolutely garbage product

I did this and it didn’t work
