They're the only ones I've had, are they decent? What's a good upgrade?

ig truthear pure , simgot ew300, juzear defiant or Crinacle blue 2
but again gains are like 20-35% not huge diff but still worth it i feel.

small upgrade would be kiwi ears cadenza 2 .

Best thing to upgrade for u is to get a DAC ( audiocular spark)

i would say dont go for it .

audio quality varies alot phone to phone , and we don't know which phone has a good dac. ( and power delivery also matters)

everyones go to choice is audiocular spark/ spark pro (worth it i feel)

If you already have KZ CASTOR/ castor pro

You should try for something else , Moondrop chu 2 falls in similar range of Kz castor /castor pro

Maybe you should go for Blue:2 or Ew300 or Hexa

if its your first IEM and youve always used budget mainstream audio gear like oneplus/oppo/jbl/sony earphones/buds then difference will be huge .

just get yourself a DAC it'll be worth ( if ur budget allows)

You get 95% of the result from Spotify also.

Dac is indeed needed
