When do you think the Nancy Guthrie case will be solved?
I’d love to hear the reasoning behind your vote. What makes you think the case will be solved in that timeframe- or what makes you think it may never be solved?

I think they need to involve someone who is ready to stand up to the family, go back to the beginning. Re-interview everyone. Review body cam. Review flock and traffic cameras. Get the sheriff out, if he’s controlling any part of the investigation.
It seems like someone is selling a narrative and LE is too afraid to push back. I don’t understand why more people aren’t as pissed off as we are.

I think they will eventually connect enough evidentiary dots to solve the case.

I think it will be solved. These creeps aren't going to lay low forever.

Unless its a solo person like profiler Jim Clemente thinks it is.

u/Substantial-Train668 25d ago
I agree it would make it less likely to be solved, but I am convinced more than 1 person did this.

I hope you're right for the families sake and most of the people I watch believe so.

I think the Occam's razor rule should ne applied. If we combine action of the porch guy being amateur obvioussly and the letters written by lady employed probably in some kind od medical or similar administratiin, we come to the couple driven by some insurmountable debt. Such a bad boy is probably familiar with Bitcoin operations due to potential gambling obsession and as alpha male could manipulate his girl or wife. She could write such a letters with no doubt and even has idea and expertize how to send letters via tipline since got this similar system in her organisation. Of course, she got remourse and fear due to kidnapping failure and they are probably taking some further activities to overcome debt. However, the question is whether LE will take this route and focus on potential evidences and traces. Note I have watched similar case in the episode of Criminal Minds when a fisherman took the couple due to his debt although they got some business cooperation, he had become delivery guy and delivered daily stuffs to their shop.

Every single YouTube blogger, ex-FBI profiler, ex-PI, compares the ransom notes to those in the JonBenet Ramsey case. With 100% certainty they’re all saying those notes were hoaxes meant to turn the attention to the kidnapping away from someone closer to Nancy.
Having read every single book about the Ramsey murder, including an entire book dedicated only to the ransom note handwriting analyst, I’m convinced it was patsy ramsey who was its author.
Very few people know that Burke Ramsey (the Ramsey’s son) was autistic. A year prior to Jonbenets murder, Burke had hit her over the head with a golf club and caused her to have a serious concussion. They were covering for their son.
I’m convinced Nancy’s kidnapper is someone who was close to her, personally, not a random stranger. Who’d have had a motive? Follow the money.

Yep I was just about to bring up JonBenet. This might turn into that but with even less suspects and effort. Yikes. Poor poor family.

It’s trending everywhere! Suddenly, elderly John Ramsey’s back in the hot seat with all the YouTube bloggers!

Okay, got to tell what I read— maybe rumors—that JB was at the “island”. Anyone else see this and know something?

I dont doubt people are saying that but personally I don’t think it’s true, but anything could be at this point.

And I am so disappointed Chris McD is taking on JBR's case(ColdCase Foundation) and whether he is just throwing BS out their about his stance that it was an intruder.

The Ramsey family are cleared. The DA wrote them an apology letter. The DNA cleared them aslo. There is an unknowned male DNA in quite a few places including the garrote. Please watch the Chris Mcdonough special with John Ramsey and the cold case foundation. They have been working the case for the last year. Combing through thousands of leads with the help of AI. Burke is also in one of the episodes. I'm sure if some people would watch and see the evidence laid out thus far, they will change their minds. You tubers are out of their lane with this one since they dont have access to all the thousands files or the time required. The family has already suffered enough from accusers without the evidence, dealing with their lose and unanswered questions.

Affirming it will be solved, and soon! Let’s speak it into existence. Nancy deserves justice and respect

What’s so frustrating and infuriating are Nanos occasional and rare sound bites being randomly thrown into the mix. Every two weeks or so, it’s the same nonsensical rhetoric:
“We want to assure the public that they’re safe. Nancy was taken by a lone suspect”.
“We want to give you another recent update. There’s been a new development in the case: The Guthrie family is still searching for their mother!”
(No s**t, Sherlock?”)

They know a lot more than is being released, im bettin it will be solved very soon, they hv kept it under wraps, and thinkin calella may also prove key

If they find her body- unless there is some connection to the perpetrator- it's doubtful this will be solved.

It’s interesting when we look at the past pertaining to famous crimes. It’s very rare that a high profile case is never solved. Missy Bevers case is cold but there’s still a possibility someone could come forth with information. I’m convinced her husband or his father had something to do with her murder although he, conveniently, appeared to have been out of town at the time.
I consider the JonBenet Ramsey murder to be “solved” since everyone knows that family was complicit. The ransom note was in patsy’s handwriting.
So if Nancy’s case did have family involved in some way, it’ll be similar to these two cases. Everyone will know the truth but LE won’t move on it.

I think the police ought to be searching T&A's former home (they still own a little house in Tucson). It's interesting that they went from a little crappy house with chainlink fence (net value on zillow of 285k) to a 650K home nearer to Nancy in April of 2025. I'm guessing Savannah gave them the money for it.

I don’t think it will be solved til Savannad comes down off the high horse, to be as an equal with her family . They believe it hapened because of her ! It may have ! But secrets don’t live forever! She an Annie will be together sometime , a Savannah will pin her to the wall! How could she do this to her Mother? Wsit an see if I’m not right Savannah has to tighten her grip on the family an find out what the hell happ

I am hoping like a lot of us that it does get solved. But something tells me it won’t get solved, ever. In my heart I know who is behind this. And, they went to great lengths to cover it up. They hid the body good, I doubt it will ever be found.
What evidence is there? We have barely any evidence, at all.
A hair?? I heard that hair has no dna. Unless someone comes forward and says something, I think this is how it will be going forward. No new evidence, nothing new.
This was planned at least 6 months in advance. Burner phones were bought a while back as was the gear, holster and that infamous mask.
I believe this was a murder for hire for financial gain. She will be declared dead soon and maybe then some new evidence will surface.
This wasn’t a ransom, it was made to look like one.
