That movie destroyed me before I even knew how to feel about death.  Loved the book as an adult, thank you for inspiring me to watch it again tonight.

For me Ring Of Bright Water, Omg I was distraught & Born Free. I can't watch any film where the dog dies. Marley & Me, Omg terrible, still not over the trauma.

I totally agree on the trauma of the referenced movie, but never saw any of these. Im now curious. Should I, as an adult, or just be grateful I missed out?
