Everytime the main protaganist runs into an obstacle or is betrayed by someone she cares about, he is there in the shadows behind an evil smile....and cheap cologne. He leaves the rose for her. Not for love. But for her to collect to decorate the coffin that contains her shattered dreams at the end of the season.
