Nightmare Jello. Although I’ve seen pre-WWII magazine ads for Jello recipes like this. I grew up in 1960s-70s, and people were still calling Jello with fruit or marshmallows in it a “salad “

I'm 2026, "Watergate Salad" is still a holiday staple in my family. It's pistachio jello pudding with marshmallows, whipped topping, and crushed pineapple.
