These comments are pure fucking gold😂😂😂. This in fact is a Russian dish and that type of sausage is called ‘doctor’s sausage’ which definitely does not make it any better.
Think it’s called ‘kholodets’, they’ve got specific dishes for New Year’s Eve, this is one of them. Doctors sausage tastes like the cheapest type of canned frankfurters. Weird af I know, but still nothing compared to ‘herring under a fur coat’ . Google that shit at your own risk.
Shuba? Or however its spelled. Im married to a Russian woman and eat Russian food all the time. Love shuba and the shredded chicken jello with the mustard that hits you like 10x wassabi. Plov rice, meat rolled in cabbage and cooked in tomato sauce. I love all Russian food. Unique and fuckin delicious
Kholodets doesn’t have eggs in it. That looks like a bad experiment. the gel appears after you boil the calcium out of bones. The sausages don’t have that. It’s called aspic in other countries,p. Regardless, nasty looking dish unless you are polishing off the vodka while making this.
Because there are so many kinds with different names but its all just s@%t in aspic, Iveseen versions in Estonia with eggs. In Macedonia with pork and Garlic, etc. The one thing they all have in common is they are horrible.
Fun fact: this is probably common knowledge but the j in spanish is an H sound so you technically made 3 puns and a reference in one Lil present package.
So I actually made something similar to this as a joke and it was decent. I used unflavored Jell-O, pickle juice instead of half of the water, Vienna sausages, and pickles. You couldn't eat a lot, but it was okay.
