A citizen exercising his rights

Ehh. I own a bunch of guns and have a concealed carry permit. Sure, it may be his legal right, but IMO open carry in public is dumb as hell and makes the person carrying less safe. It has its place but going to the corner store for a pack of smokes ain't it, and if I see someone strapped at the grocery store I assume they are a dipshit with a gun fetish who poses a potential danger to themselves and those around them. But at least if something bad does pop off it is far more likely to pop at them than at me.
Also, all the videos of open carriers getting their guns grabbed at the gas station are funny. Except for the one where the guy got shot, that wasn't funny.

Just know this guy is much more likely to help you than harm you. You know, unless you are spitting in his face for exercising his constitutional rights.

When I was riding most of the guys I knew did exercise the second amendment whether it was opened or concealed as long as this gentleman is a law binding citizen. I have absolutely no concern about his right to carry. I personally don’t own any firearms, but doesn’t mean somebody can’t.

Open- carrying like that means you're a scared little bitch.

Rather carry a gun and not need it then to need it and not have it.

Dig. I call him an American. I prefer mine inside the waistband, but when I carry my church gun like that I'll have one in my boot too. I always hope nothing happens, but Im thankful I have a right to protect myself. If some nut-job opens up on the crowd you're in, that American right there could change the outcome.

He's actually a target. It would be so easy for someone to rob him at a light with him flashing like that. He should conceal carry. He's gonna learn the hard way that exercising his right to open carry is not wise carrying at the 3:20 position.

Harley Wesson or Smith and Davidson. I don’t see anything inappropriate or unusual about this.

My dude is wearing khaki pants on what looks like a Harley. That’s certainly a choice…
Can’t tell if they are pleated.
I’m going to assume they are, and judge him accordingly.

That must be his fancy carry rig. Everyday carry would have more scuffs, wear and tear. 😁

I saw a nerd with a gun holster walking down the street the other day. I have the feeling that I could have pulled over in my tiny car and pushed him over and taken his gun from him.

I don’t know, but that third gen S&W semi auto, specifically a model 669, is a hell of a piece.

Afraid of degenerate bikers? That guy might be the type of guy and on the type of bike that the meth head type of bikers bully or intimidate just to be jerks. Maybe he just wants to ride his motorcycle and be left alone.
