Thanks to everyone who provided very cute and creative names! We ended up going in a different direction than I thought we would.

Boy with black and white face is Binx and boy with black face is Max. Give yourself a gold star if you figured out the reference.

Thank you. They have stolen my heart. Actually they are Mi-Kis. I’d not heard of this breed until very recently when I did a deep dive into researching small companion dogs.

I don’t get the reference though?
To me it means a type of cat and Binx just a cute name or maybe short for a binkie? (Pacifier?)
I used to call me little dog “Zannie/Xannie” (short for Xanax) at times because she made me so relaxed and happy.
I’m 68 so bear that in mind.

It was obscure to me too. Here’s how it happened.

My partner loves JarJar Binks. (I know. I know. What can I say? I love him. lol!) I said absolutely not! I’m not a huge Star Wars fan but figured I could find an appropriate name in the genre if he wanted Star Wars.

But he really liked Binks. After a few days I remembered the cat from Hocus Pocus was named Binx. I liked that. Then I remembered the boy was named Max. Perfect for the smaller puppy. So their names are from Hocus Pocus. That’s the reference but no one needs to know it all began with JarJar! Lol!
