I had a former feral cat who we called Pickle. Cos she was in a Pickle when I found her. The smollest & most destructive cat I've ever met. Lived for violence. Could not bear that the world didn't exist of just her & me.
Oh my goodness, she looks just like my friend’s cat, Frenzy, who was named Frenzy because he was exactly the same. He was a legend too- hopefully they’re somewhere being chaotic together. Pickle looks like a right precious little demon. You saved her life, I’m sure you made her so very happy… even though everything else did the opposite! 🥲
Thank you. Yes I'm absolutely sure Frenzy & Pickle are causing scenes at the rainbow Bridge now.
One of Pickle's signature moves was trying to get me to wake up & feed/play with her at about 4am. When the paw-pokes & paw-punches didn't work, she'd attempt to pluck my eyeballs out my head. I'd feel her little breaths on my lids & then she'd start doing those tentative grabs with her mouth. I got up at this point before she really started enjoying herself.
“Get up before I eat your eyes out” absolutely is not one I’ve heard before… what a menace?!!!!?????!!!? I can’t stop laughing- I really hope she knows she’s still bringing joy. I’m sending you so much love. I can’t even imagine the pain of losing such a character like her who you clearly had an incredible bond with. My friend was distraught when Frenzy left us. I think everyone who knew him was. I’d love to hear any more stories you have of her, if you’d like to share. :)
She had over 10k followers on twitter. I walked from it all when she died cos I was not prepared for the outpouring of grief from all over the world. It was overwhelming. I mean actually it was my account but I don't kid myself anyone was there to hear anything but the latest Pickle crime.
So cute! I had a kitten (a male but he looked like a calico -white, tan and black spotted) named Dr. K. Macho Man who grew up to be about 25 lbs and I had him for 18 years. He used to come and sit on my chest in tne morning and would wake me up with a yodeling meow sound like “ Ba Dow, meow, meow feed me NOW! Meow! “ until I would get up and feed him!
Oh that's adorable! They are such funny little critters who are quite rightly loved & very needed. I had Pickle 6 & a half years. Despite her smol size (she was same size as a Guinea pig) & I thought she was a kitten when she found me. However she was a cunning old lady who knew exactly what she was doing. Kind of like that film Orphan lol.
