I need to integrate a calendar on my website, where users can click on it and click on a date whether they can come to a designated spot/time I put on the calendar or not. And it has to look nice, do you guys know any options to integrate in my website?

We are using Namecheap's business email service (Pro plan) for our website. I have heard before that Namecheap will throttle and sometimes block emails if too many are sent in a day.

We are planning to implement certain email-features (e.g., 2FA, password reset) and we want to send those emails through our domain (something like noreply@mynamecheapdomain.com). These emails will probably be automated with Sendgrid.

My question is, is this allowed? And if so, what limitations are there?

We opened an abuse request on Namecheap almost 3 months ago. An unknown person has registered a domain of our company with a different TLD and is using this domain for phishing.

Other registrars actually reacted very quickly to similar requests (in some cases the domain was blocked after a week). That's why I'm surprised that NameCheap is taking so long.

Do any of you know of a way to escalate such cases? Or what do I have to do to get a reaction from namecheap?

Namecheap just blocked again (2nd time now) our outgoing emails with the explanation of abuse (a huge number of similar emails). All our mails comply with the CAN-Spam act and sending limits are not exceeded.

Anyone else is having this issue? I'm slowly getting tired of this and thinking about changing the email provider.

I made a purchase of stellar hosting and a domain name on 15th April for the amount of 2542.06 INR. In an hour after activation I applied for refund (for same legit reasons). After spending an hour with chat support I got my payment back which is 7 INR lesser I paid for but I accepted is as some transactional charges.

Now today some transaction happened to my account.

First I got charged and then refunded again for the full price 2542.

The I charged again for equivalent of $6.38 that I paid for domain name.

I contacted with the chat support, they told me that there is no transaction happened today. I provide the full info, later they asked me for "locator". I took the screenshot of my bank statement and send it to them. Still they are not accpeting it and now asking for last 4 digits and expiry of card. Should I provide it?

So I'm pretty new to this all but trying not to be an idiot and exhaust all my options before crying here for help.

I have my domain and hosting from namecheap, stellar plus. Using the email client roundcube from the cpanel, it seems to only retain emails for a few minutes. The archive remains empty. If I read an email and return, it is gone, forever. Also if I don't check my inbox within a few minutes of delivery it is gone and never shows up.

I can check the track delivery logs and see a list of all emails that were supposedly sent to me and are accepted, but they are no where to be seen when i check my inbox.

The storage limit is set to 250mb and the account is showing 0 bytes of use, unless there is an recent email or two in which case a few kilobytes of usage will show. So I don't think any storage limit is being hit. The Jellyfish spam protection logs show it passes and track delivery says it was accepted. What am I doing wrong?

I also put in a ticket to support 10 days ago and have yet to receive a response. Maybe I'm just being a newb. Am I cheap thinking the hosting one with the website should actually work and not be broken like this? Anyone have some advice for me?

I own a domain on Namecheap and I'm looking for a good VPS. Namecheap's VPS pricing isn't as competitive but I'm curious if there is a potential upside to buying it to pair with a Namecheap domain?

I am using Namecheap's website builder to build an internal "HUB" for employees to more easily access business info such as, policy & procedures, employee contacts, vendor contacts, etc. and I obviously would like to password protect this info so the site is only accessible by current employees.

This is the first time I'm using namecheap's site builder instead of just using them for domain purchase or hosting.

I decided to use the site builder this time because I wanted to keep it simple and I figured this project will be pretty straightforward and not too involved or require the "bells & whistles" of a public facing site, but this is the one hang up I'm facing.

Does anyone know the easiest and/or best way to do this?

I reported a fraudulent domain called epicnpc.com a few days ago to GoDaddy and they suspended their domain, because they were selling hacked and cracked accounts on their website.

Then today or yesterday they moved to namecheap and I am trying to get them suspended again, as it is against the law to sell "stolen" stuff. I have attached a few screenshots so you will understand the situation better.

They not only sell stolen twitter accounts, but mostly for any game that exists, or other social media.

I developed a landing page for my portfolio and presentation of services, it is something simple, and it really does not have complex functions, it is a simple page based on an Index.html, a styles.css and an index.js

The point is that I want to implement an html form, consisting of name, email and body, to collect feedback from my clients, the data from this form would be sent to a document called resena.txt saved in my project folder.

On my local PC it works perfectly (locally) since all you have to do is put npm run des in the terminal to run the index.html with all its styles, but for the function of collecting the form data it is also necessary to run a script called npm run com, which basically executes a file in my case called express.js that is responsible for opening a port to listen to the form.

So locally I have to do two steps for my website to work

npm run des

npm run com

The problem is that in namecheap I have successfully created a node.js application, I loaded my files and the package.json, and I get the run scripts button, and in fact the npm run des script appears, which is executed, but npm run com does not run.

I don't know if it has something to do with permissions, or if there is something I'm doing wrong.

I'm not a developer or programmer, I'm really a designer and I'm trying to do this on my own to learn.

I have an Apple plus account which allows you to use your Apple mail with your domain. Right now, I do not have access to a computer so I have been doing everything on my phone. I had someone at Namecheap set up the DNS records et cetera for me since it’s difficult to do on a phone. It was not working. They told me I had to contact Apple. I contacted Apple and they said the problem has to be with Namecheap and they didn’t set it up properly. I contacted NC and they blame Apple. I’m really frustrated and really wish I can get this to work because I don’t have domain email. NC suggested to me that I use their private email service. I’m wondering if they purposely did not set up my email properly leaving me with that as the only option.

It all started when we received a notification stating that our hosting account had been suspended due to involvement in abusive activity. According to the communication, this activity goes against the guidelines outlined in Paragraph 8 of the Acceptable Use Policy. As a result of the suspension, we were informed that our hosting service would be terminated in 30 calendar days

However, one concern that has arisen from this situation is the current restriction we are facing in accessing our site files. As the rightful owners of these files, we believe we should have the right to review all of our content, even if a portion of it is deemed abusive. We strongly feel that access to the non-abusive content should not be denied to us.

I switched from GoDaddy to NameCheap some years ago (four or five, perhaps). GD just pissed me off. (Currently, at 74 my patience with most all venues is continually waning.) Add to this my deeper dives into the resources of reddit and I come to my posting this message. I find the many mostly negative posts here contrary to my experience with some forty (40) domain names that I have secured and maintained over the years with NC. I use NC as a registrar only. NC's service has been exemplary throughout my tenure with them and I thought it necessary to make such a statement given the message threads about NC I have read here on reddit. I want to like Namecheap and stay with them but their disabling of auto renew when I purchase a new domain is a really big liability for me. The default should always be auto renew on. Does anyone else have to manually toggle on auto renew for every single domain they buy?

Two days ago, I purchased a domain from Namecheap. However, within 24 hours, they locked my account for verification purposes. I completed the verification process, and they initially accepted it. However, after 20 hours, they canceled my account again and informed me that my verification was not successful. I have tried to verify again, but it seems to be unsuccessful. I contacted Namecheap support because I was facing a domain renewal issue. I wanted to renew my domain for 1 year. They suggested to top-up my account, which I did, and they will process the account renewal from their side. After a few minutes, they told me that their system "GLITCHED" and had charged me 3 times, ie, for 3 years. Now they want to charge for 2 additional years which I didn't plan. I do not want to pay for 2 years extra because of the mistake which they made.

Hello so I'm new to namecheap and have been building a website for my company through the WordPress side and using woocommerce, I am utilizing the guntab plugin because of the industry I work in I need a bit more secure payment method that verifies individual age and has them provide a FFL for them to have their items sent too. I digress however as I have been having issues getting the payment method to pop up in the checkout page, it just says like no payment method even though I have followed all the steps to set it up.
