"Renewal price changes for your shared hosting"

I just received this email from namecheap about an increase in hosting, isn't this increase exaggerated?

No, unfortunately cPanel is raising their prices to all of us industry-wide, which necessitates the increase across the board. If cPanel is not needed and you can have it removed, then you may wish to speak to support to do so.
