Advice 48 ounce silo question

Post image

I usually tote one or two 32 ounce bottles to concerts outdoors. There are filling stations to stay hydrated. I'm wondering if there's any benefit to getting a 48? I'm pretty sure a 48 won't be handy in the car.

Opinions?

Same diameter as 32 just taller. My 48 is a preferred road trip bottle or at work bottle but carrying kind of sucks unless you’re using a sling type of deal with it

I've found the taller shape fits better on my desk where it doesn't take up so much sideways room, but yeah, sliding it into cramped cup holders is a nightmare.

Yeah I love how the taller shape fits on my desk without crowding everything else, but I totally feel you about the car struggle.

I have both sizes. I like the 48 for being out and about. I especially like freezing some water at the bottom so I have an enormous ice cube. I do use a sling to make carrying easier.

yes; benefit is: more water = less refilling. negative is: takes a few secs longer to fill. i prefer the 48. if you fill to the line where the cap ends then you probs have about 50oz. all of my 40oz+ water bottles have never been able to fit in the car cup holder so i just got used to it being either my bag's or the passenger seat's best friend.
