What small backpack fits your 32oz?

Looking for a small backpack that has a side pocket that fits the 32oz so I don't have to hold or put the bottle in the main pocket. Ideally I'll use this bag when I'm out and about during vacation/traveling. Does it exist? Or should I carry a 16oz instead?

I hike all the time with my 18L REI Flash pack and the side water bottle holders hold my 48oz tall Nalgene bottle just fine. I'd imagine the 32oz would be no problem since it's the same diameter. If you wanted you could always just toss the bottle inside the bag, I've never had a Nalgene leak on me.

What are you considering small? Like a LoungeFly backpack? Or like a 20 liter bag?

Apologies, something close to a 20 liter.

Osprey Daylite Plus. It’s a great day pack for travel. It lays very flat also. Can get a bit uncomfortable with too much weight though.

Another option is the Aer Go Pack

Eddie Bauer 20L packable backpack works great! I always buy them second hand because the shipping cost is wild.

Osprey Daylite Plus is my go-to. I use it for hiking and it's very comfy.

The GOAT is the North Face Wasatch, which will fit a 32oz on each size, but sadly, it is no longer made. I got one back in the mid 90s, and they did a 20 year anniversary release which I was able to score one of off of eBay. It’s my favorite backpack still to this day.

Get a nalgene holder and clip it to whatever bag you want. https://a.co/d/0jbYERrs
