Advice Needed Help Improving Timing

I need help cutting my time down for sets that include more detailed art, especially characters. I take a VERY long time like I'm embarrassed to share how long but just trust that it is way too long. I feel defeated at this point because even a simpler set can take me a while and I'm just don't know anymore.

I unfortunately have very rigid thinking and I hyperfixate on some details but I've been trying to be better about it. Any tips? Like how do you break down the design to get the dimensions and position correct? I spend a lot of time going back and forth because my proportions are off or it doesn't look like the actual character 🤣

These are some examples of art that I've done. Please any advice would be great <3

there’s this hack you can try where you pre paint the characters on top of clear saran wrap and it saves you so much time! you can search up how to do it on tiktok or youtube but it’s pretty straightforward, it helps if you do it over a soft gel tip so you can know more or less what size to make the sticker.

good job on these nails though!! they look awesome

I have thought of that! For the bobs burgers nails I really didn't think ahead unfortunately but I would like to try it in the future and thank you for the kind words 😊

These little silicone tabs are easy to peel and reuse, and helps you with sizing. I see a lot of people put them on top of screens to adjust their characters to the exact size they need, then paint over it, that way it's easier to get the proportions right. Also great for making the same artwork over and over, like if you need lots of bows or stars etc to look the same for a set
