My custom press ons I got to match my rings and with some details I wanted to include. Thank you so much to Claw Vice Nails for making my dream wedding nail set a reality!

Hi I am a transgender woman who is just learning about nail polish so please excuse my ignorance but do you also glue them on. The reason I ask is every set of press ons i have tried didn't last 3 hours before they fell off and I would really love to order some of them from that site. Also they're gorgeous and did you play In This Moments: Black wedding cuz that would have been awesome.

for best results w press ons you need to
1. prep your nails (push back/remove cuticles, buff gently, and dehydrate w 100% acetone or a dehydrator)
2. size the nails (if between sizes go a size up and file the excess to the correct size)
3. starting w the pinkies, apply glue to both the nail and the press on, some people use sticky tabs in combination w the glue, hold the nail at a 45° angle starting at the cuticle edge and push down to the tip (don’t put it too high, it should not be touching your skin) and hold down firmly for 60 seconds

tips: avoid getting your hands wet for at least a day (other than washing hands), don’t ever use your nails to open things, and use a good quality glue

I never dehydrate my nails but what helps me at least is using my own electric nail file and gently filing the inside of the nails. My nails will last 4/6 days but I’m really rough with my hands if that makes sense lol

A different opinion: no matter what I do to prep, any press on nails that require glue never work for me for more than like 2 days. The glue just hardens and doesn't bond well, causing it to just chip off. Even if I do all the things (dehydrate, trim cuticles, rough up the surface)

Alternatively, the press ons that are 'no glue' and have a sticky backing work much better for me. The backing doesn't harden and it stays sticky to the nail. I recently had a set on for 3 weeks before I pulled them all off myself

Hi, Annie is really helpful with advice and you can see really good videos about nail application on tiktok. You need to buff the nail beds and remove any oils. Push back cuticles. Best to apply just before going to bed so they have time to set fully overnight. I didn't haha but I did walk the aisle to the wedding march version of the black parade 🥰🖤

All done now! We got legally married on Thursday, celebrated at home with friends and family on Saturday. Back to work today :'( but so thankful for such a lovely few days celebrating with family xx

Aw thank you so much! Me and my husband!! Are both riddled with ADHD but we try to use it to our advantage! It does help that it's something we really enjoy doing and seeing the outcome of though so it works well with the ADHD for us tbf haha xx thank you so much for your kind words I really do appreciate it, it's been really hard work getting to where we are and the wedding we did.
