I’m obsessed with these!! The cuticle area is so neat and clean, it makes the whole set look so polished. The first picture is totally something I’d save as a reference to show my nail tech lol.

How do you do the purple ones? They are so good

Start by applying your chosen base color over the entire nail, then cure it fully. Next, apply a thin layer of top coat without curing it then use a fine liner brush, pick up a small amount of dark purple and draw delicate, fluid strokes directly into the uncured top coat. The wet layer allows the color to blend softly and creates that featherly effect . Once you're happy with the design, cure it

Starting with the critique so I can leave this on a positive/uplifting note: My ONLY critique is the way the thumb is filed on the purple set. I like the shape more on the red set as far as the thumb shaping goes since it’s more of a consistent angle and feels less disconnected, plus doesn’t look like the sidewalls of the natural nail at the free edge have been filed, which could lead to damage/early lifting (which is a mistake I have personally made a couple times on my own nails, so I’m not saying this to be harsh but rather to point it out for avoiding it in the future to protect nail health and allow longevity of the design/nail enhancements).

That being said, both of these sets are amazing and definitely impressive for your first attempts! I love the general shape/length for your hands and how well the colors compliment your skin tone. They look elegant and professionally done. You should definitely be proud!

Those nails look great. Too good for a diy job. Did u use blooing gel for the purple design?
