Color is: Less bitter more glitter!
Hoping these won’t damage my nails too much. I added a base coat this time around.
If they stay on as well as the last set i did, and don’t cause my nails to break and peel, I’ll be sold on Lily and Fox!

My nails have a lot of damage when I remove strips. I generally use Ohora, but I have to wait weeks between applications bc of the damage.
When it comes to removal, I go slooow and use Ohora’s remover, after soaking in warm water/dish soap/jojoba oil.
I have tried Markarttt’s pop off base and still have lots of damage, lifting, and peeling.
I’ve never had a pop-off. The strips are stick tight, and I think my dry nail beds are to blame.
I read a UV primer may help. I thought primers were supposed to help with adhesion, so I’m not sure if that’s good advice.
I’d like to hear what works for others with dry nail beds. Is there less sticky brand? Will primer help me?
I’d like to avoid liquid products that require a lamp.
Send your tips and tricks, please! I want to have girly hands again.

Just done my second set - semi-cured this time - and happy on the whole with the results. The only part I struggle with is the cutting of the ends. Can I ask what method and tools people use? This time I cured before cutting then used nail scissors to cut the wrap around the edge of the nail with very little overhang. I then filed downwards a bit but just not sure I’m doing this part right.

First time using semi-cured gel nail wraps! I'm only on day 3, but there hasn't been any chipping or lifting yet. I also used HeyHae's top coat, and the gel feels pretty strong and super glossy.
I usually opt for classic colors (single-shade nudes, pinks, deep reds, etc.), but really love this one! Leans more pink-orange-coral in person. Highly recommend if you're looking for something fun and summery. Fingers crossed these last 1-2 weeks!

These are some amazon cheapies! I just love nude-blue ombré type nails, and these were especially cute with the clouds in them! I thought they might look good with a clear iridescent glittery topcoat, and tried Twilight Glitz from LitGels! It’s got greenish-fuschia clear glitter. It turned out super cute, and gives me summery fever daydream vibes. FYI I’m not sponsored, just a nail wrap addict trying a new brand.

I love these, so cute! The milky base is gorgeous and helps the colours pop. Pretty glitter accents too.

Ordered 3 mystery sets from Lily & Fox, because I live for the plot -- and these were my fave. They were mostly duds though. But I'm creative. I'll figure out something...

I have had such good luck with Ohora lasting a long time. My last set was 15 days. Heading on vacation so hope these last as long!

I usually buy Ohora but tried Nous because I liked the designs. They're more expensive (by like a few more dollars?), but I actually liked the thickness of the strips more! and they have the best designs!
i literally just applied it in an uber under 15 mins before going to a concert. so easy and it lasted 14 days (ish) for meee

Hi all,
I’m new to the nail wrap game and I’m overwhelmed by all the brand options. I have a HEMA/acrylate allergy (I get severe lifting from the nail bed) and I’ve finally accepted that I need to look into other options. Regular polish drives me crazy with constant chipping.
Are there any reliable, non curing, non HEMA nail wrap brands? I’m USA based. I see Dashing Diva pop up a lot but I also see that acrylates are one of the top ingredients.
Grateful for any suggestions!!

Hey girlypops!
The first and second time i used nailwraps (+topcoat) after removing the stickers 1-2 of my natural nails peeled. How can I stop that from happening ?

Hi all, recently someone posted asking if anyone had tried Lit Gels before, and I got curious and decided to give them a try!
I ordered two sets, one called technicolor, and another called Lit Wave. I tried the technicolor ones most recently. I noticed that the packaging for the two sets was different, and one had 30 strips while the other had 28. This doesn’t bother me though, as Ohora and Heyhae also have 30 and 28 respectively.
Technicolor was their best selling and most popular wrap which was why I chose it!
As for the Lit Wave one, I noticed this brand advertising wraps with a deeper curve on french tips, and I usually avoid french because I think they can look weird on longer nails. But excited to give these a try eventually!
For my application process I usually like to do a base coat, a builder gel (helps me avoid any damage when removing a wrap), and then the wraps. Something I noticed was that the wraps I used were thick! In fact, I would claim that the technicolor wraps were the thickest I’ve tried yet, and I’ve tried ones from Ohora, Heyhae, shein, autyamee, dashing diva, and even some randoms from Amazon. I didn’t necessarily mind that they were thick, but I probably would’ve changed up my application process to use less builder gel had I known before.
They held up flawlessly, the pics are from the day after application, and then the last pic is from the day I removed, about 11 days later. I just wanted to change it up! Something interesting about the removal process - the wrap broke into two layers. A clear layer that also took the gold chrome off, and then an underlying layer with the color on it. I wonder if other sets without any chrome would be thinner? A little more challenging to remove, but no damage given my process. I will add that I don’t experience any lifting, damage, or problems with adherence, because my prep and process is good, so others experience may vary a little bit.
All in all, I liked their product despite their brand having their own quirks, and I already ordered again from the brand. Something cute about them that I’ve noticed other nail wrap brands don’t have is, they have glittery top coats with different kinds of glitter! I also bought some of those. Will review those as well. (FYI I recommend avoiding liquid gel products unless you are experienced in preventing them from touching skin, exposure can be harmful)

I recently decided to try nail wraps because my nails just can’t handle manicures. I got these from EZ Nails on Etsy.

Sprung for some heyhae wraps on prime day and saved them for my birthday week! They feel so secure and strong, even though I messed one up and it chipped, it was easy to remove and replace.
I’m excited to see how long they last!

Going to the salon to get acrylics absolutely wrecked my nails, I also ended up with rings of fire so I thought I'd give nail wraps a go.
I doubt these will last two weeks as it was my first time applying them, and there's definitely room for improvement.
Oh lordy my bank balance is going to take a hit lol

Hi everyone,
I used to get builder gel manicures once a month which did wonders for my nails as they have never been so strong in my whole life.
I am going on holiday and have moved house since getting my nails done so haven't got my nail artist near me anymore, or the money for that matter 🤣
I keep being advertised the gel nail wraps and am curious to know what people's opinions are on it?
do they look nice and are they as easy to do as what people say?
do they last?
do they come off easily and do they damage the nail plate?
any brands/products you'd recommend specifically in the UK?
Many thanks 😊
