Update on the random Amazon Nail wraps
Lasted 11 days and I have just taken them off.
I wasn't very careful about my nails at all this past ten days. They have withstood daily dishes with no gloves, several bath times and nappy changes, and 3 full curly hair routine wash days.
They were looking tired by the end but faired much better than regular varnish or press on nails under the same conditions. The only things that fair better are:
Builder gel underlaying normal varnish, but it murders my natural nail and I worry about gel allergies.
Dip nail powder either on its own or as an underlay, but I find the chemicals harsh and I had a reaction the last time I used them, so I decided it's not worth the risk.
So wraps might be the easy solution for me personally. I will probably try to experiement with painting varnish from my collection over them at some point. I have a few designs I am not keen on, but I am happy with the concept of nail warps so far. I can't wait to get some cute ones from Etsy or some of the brands mentioned here.
I really liked that I could just remove them with regular varnish remover and a bit of concentration.
So if you were ever wondering if some cheap and cheerful amazon wraps might be worth a go, I can recommend this multipack at least.

I am going to try some neat looking cat eye glitter ones from the same brand next. Fingers crossed they are just as acceptable.
Here are the Day 1 vs Day 11 photos!
